Lawrence Academy Coach Margraf Celebrates ISL Win

Lawrence Academy won its first ISL championship since 2011 this spring, under the tutelage of Coach Chris Margraf. The team went 17-4-1, and sealed the ISL championship with a no-hitter against Tabor. Coach Margraf joins us to talk about his Groton-based team and what it took to win.

MIAA Division 1 State Champion Coach Blair Bourque

Blair Bourque is the head coach at Taunton High, and he recently led his team to a Massachusetts Division 1 state championship. His team clinched the championship with a victory over top-seeded Franklin, a Hockomock League rival. He joins us via Zoom.

We sit down with one of the most accomplished prep school coaches in New England – Winchendon head coach John Toffey. John came to Winchendon in 2018 after leading Salisbury School and Cheshire Academy to a combined record of 135-9 and eight conference championships. He is now well into the process of building Winchendon into one of the region’s top developmental programs for aspiring college baseball players. 15 Winchendon players are currently committed to playing college baseball.
